Birkelund Park

Birkelunden park in Grünerløkka is one of the most used parks in Oslo. The park was laid out in the 1860s, and is located in the upper part of Grünerløkka between Paulus church and Grünerløkka school.

Frogner Park

The Frogner Park (Frognerparken) is a public park in the west-end borough of Frogner in the Norwegian capital of Oslo. It is part of the Frogner Manor, and belonged to rich families like Anker and Wegner in the 19th century, before being acquired by the city of Oslo.

Palace Park

The Palace Park (slottsparken) was designed as a Romantic landscape and was probably inspired by German Romantic gardens of the 1840s. About 2000 trees were planted in 1848, and contemporary sources mention the luxuriant flower beds and shrubberies, especially in The Queen's Park.

Sofienberg Park

Sofienberg Park (Sofienbergparken) is the biggest park in the Grünerløkka area, and a much used recreational area for the locals, especially the younger generations. The park has table tennis tables and a fun playground for the kids. In the middle of the park lies Sofienberg church.

Vigeland Sculpture Park

The Frogner Park is part of the Frogner Manor and is the most famous park in Norway, it was created by sculptor Gustav Vigeland between the years 1907 and 1942.
